A catastrophic failure of the turbine's main shaft bearings led to significant wear the housing and shaft. We assessed why failure had occurred and to prevent future failure, upgraded the design with greaseable back to back seals and replaced worn components with enhanced materials, including duplex stainless steel the shaft, before completing on-site fitment and testing to restore the turbine's functionality.​

The Fish Safe Diverter Value was designed & developed from customer requirements to reduce fish stress, casualties and improve efficiency when transferring , allows for quick transitions between pipelines. Made from corrosion-resistant 316 stainless steel, the design features consideration to all leading edges to prevent fish damage, and machined stub pipes facilitate easy connection of flexible hoses.

After repeated bearing failures and stub shaft wear causing down time and costly repairs the customer requested the main shaft and bearings be re engineered with durability as the key priority.
