Agricultural Flail Repair Case Study
Turning - Milling - Grinding - Slotting - Welding
After repeated failure of the flail and down time our customer requested re engineering of the main shaft and bearings to offer a durable long lasting solution.
We offered this through installing as far larger through shaft with taper locking bearings to ensure correct shaft alignment to prevent wear of the bearing journals through vibration. The rotor was balanced and installed with heavier duty bearings offering over twice the dynamic load rating.
