Terms & Conditions of Business

1. ​​We (Ailsa Engineering Ltd) shall not be deemed to accept any order until it has been confirmed in writing by an authorised representative.

2. Non refundable deposit of 50% of the total order value is due on acceptance of orders of equipment.

3. You (the customer) shall be responsible for ensuring the equipment purchased is of the correct specification and meets health and safety regulations for the intended use and location.

4. We reserve the right to make changes to design and specifications to improve equipment and to take account of component availability.
5. Repairs and maintenance of equipment is chargeable for damage, breakages and general wear and tear.
6. The price of equipment and services shall be the quoted price which we reserve the right to change as a result of an error or to account for increased business costs or where a price has not been quoted or a quoted price is no longer valid.
7. Quotations remain valid for a period of 30 days.
8. Design Rights remain the property of Ailsa Engineering Ltd unless they are expressly sold as part of an order.
9. Payment in full is due on completion of any work and is to be paid within 30 days of completion.
10. Goods remain the property of Ailsa Engineering Ltd until paid for in full.
11. We reserve the right to charge interest at a rate of 8% plus bank base rate on overdue payments.
